Annapurna payment not received? Start here
Missing payments are stressful. Work through the scenarios below in order. You will need your official portal login, bank passbook or statement, and patience for banking timelines. Annapurna Check cannot trigger payments or access government systems.
Last verified:
Scenario A: Portal says Approved, no payment field yet
Approval may arrive before the first DBT batch for your district or category. Check whether payment history is empty versus showing Processing.
Wait a reasonable number of working days while watching for new portal entries. If nothing changes for an extended period, contact the helpline with application ID (after verifying helpline on official notice).
Scenario B: Payment Processing for a long time
- Confirm the account is active with a small deposit or branch visit if needed.
- Verify Aadhaar–bank seeding via official UIDAI/bank channels.
- Compare portal account digits with your passbook.
- If portal allows correction, update carefully and recheck after announced processing time.
- Bank holidays can pause settlements
- Name mismatch between Aadhaar and bank account
- Account dormant or frozen
- Technical return from NPCI/bank rails
Scenario C: Portal shows Payment Failed / Returned
Treat this as a actionable banking/data problem, not a reason to pay bribes. Failed status often ties to seeding, wrong IFSC, or closed accounts.
Document the failure message screenshot and visit your bank with Aadhaar and passbook if the portal advises branch action.
Scenario D: Portal shows Credited, bank shows nothing
Sometimes status updates precede visible credits. Wait 24–72 working hours, refresh mini statement, and check the correct account if you have multiple accounts.
If still missing, call bank with transaction reference if shown, then helpline with portal proof.
Scenario E: Money in bank, portal silent
Credits may arrive before UI refresh. Save passbook proof for your records. Portal may update later; keep application ID safe regardless.
What not to do
- Do not share OTP with “fix payment” agents
- Do not pay fees to unlock DBT
- Do not give full Aadhaar images to random Telegram admins
- Do not trust unofficial apps requesting screen recording of your banking app
