Official portal for Annapurna Yojana (Social Registry)
The Government of West Bengal’s West Bengal Social Registry citizen portal is the official entry point described for Annapurna Yojana application login and status tracking. Use the URL below directly—type it or bookmark it—rather than clicking shortened links from unknown messages.

Verified citizen portal URL
Citizen portal: https://socialregistry.wb.gov.in/citizen/
Hostname to expect in the address bar: socialregistry.wb.gov.in
Annapurna Check is not hosted on wb.gov.in; only the government site can authenticate you and show personal status.
What you can do after official login
- Submit or update application details where the portal allows
- Track application verification and approval wording
- View payment or DBT-related status when exposed to beneficiaries
- Download or note acknowledgment references for helpline calls
Security: Aadhaar, OTP, and phishing
OTP is a one-time password sent to your mobile to prove it is really you. Enter OTP only on pages served from the official government hostname after you yourself opened the portal.
Fake “Annapurna status” sites copy government logos and ask for Aadhaar number plus OTP. That combination can let fraudsters attempt identity misuse. Annapurna Check will never ask for OTP or Aadhaar on any form.
Do not install unknown Android APKs promising faster status. Use your browser with the official URL instead.
- Check the padlock (HTTPS) and correct hostname
- Ignore WhatsApp forwards with random subdomains
- Never share OTP with call center agents who cold-call you
- Log out on shared phones after checking status
If the portal is unreachable
High traffic after scheme launches can cause slowdowns. Retry later, clear browser cache cautiously, or try another network. Outages should be resolved on the government side—paying a third party will not fix server load.
